Advertise With USNAV

We provide a fast and easy approach to advertising unique from other news providers in two ways. We think our approach is simple and effective. First, we charge based on a month of advertising. If for some reason you would like your ad to run less than a month, then we pro-rate accordingly. Second, we rotate ads daily to provide our readers with a new visual experience and to increase the impact of advertising messages.

Ad rotation occurs within each of our four size categories on our Home page and secondary pages, but is not implemented on full story blog pages, due to their shorter life spans.

Design Services

Don’t have an ad? For a one time fee of $500 we will design it for you! This includes concept, creation and one change prior to final production for .jpg and .gif. Additional changes are extra. Agreement:

By purchasing advertising with Compass Publishing, Inc., the "Advertiser" agrees to the following:

Deadlines:

Provide all creative work, ad codes, ad tags, landing page URLs and other relevant files to: advertising@USNewsAndViews.com. Deadline is five days before the end of the campaign launch month.

Change Orders:

Design changes during an existing campaign must be delivered at least three business days prior to change.

Third Party Server:

If you are using a third party ad server you must provide creative copy and links for review prior to USNAV implementing tags.

Content and Positioning:

All banner ads are subject to Compass Publishing review. Compass Publishing reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement, insertion order, reservation or commitment at any time based upon its creative content or otherwise. Compass Publishing has the right to refuse any content that it deems inappropriate for any reason in its sole opinion.

Ad Format:

At this time Compass Publishing accepts banner ads in .jpg, .gif and animated .gif only - maximum file size is 30k.

Rotation:

Skyscraper/Basement, Lead Content, Side Bar and In Line Content ads will be rotated daily.

Payment, Indemnification and Cancellation:

Acceptance of advertising is subject to space availability upon receipt of a signed Insertion Order and one month payment. Payment must be by check or money order. Payments for additional months must be received prior to the month beginning.

Warranties, Indemnification, Hold Harmless:

Advertiser and Agency jointly and severally represent and warrant that Advertiser has the right to publish and display the Advertisements and their content. Advertiser and Agency agree jointly and severally to indemnify and hold Compass Publishing harmless against any expense or loss by reason of any claim arising out of online publication and display of the Advertisements.

Cancellations and Change Orders:

Cancellations or changes in orders must be made in writing. Any campaign may be cancelled at any time with a pro-rated refund made to Advertiser, based on the total number of days within the month unused. Once written receipt of cancellation is received, Compass Publishing will have up to two business days to end the campaign with those days considered billable. Refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
